मुदिता)

Hello...

and welcome to Mudita

Our journey began in 1989 when Carol opened a small shop in Northampton called Crystal Clear.

Inspired by the beauty and significance of crystals & gemstones, inspirational books and music, Carol wanted to share what she had learned with others and made the heart led decision to invest all her money in stock.

Of all the things she shared it was crystals and gemstones that seemed to capture the imagination of her customers. She started to include information about the meaning and symbolism of each gemstone, allowing customers to connect on a deeper level with their gemstone jewellery and hopefully ultimately with themselves.

Understanding more about the gemstones quickly resonated with people, and the business flourished.

In 2000 I joined her and we decided to start wholesaling our jewellery to other shops so it would reach more people.

By 2011, we had grown into a £3 million company, reaching customers in 35 countries worldwide.

However, despite our success, in 2012 we decided to liquidate the business. We knew that the focus had shifted from Carol's original mission to inspire others to being a business driven by sales figures.

Our hearts simply weren't in it anymore.

Now, after a decade of learning, we are delving into the massive treasure trove of gemstone jewellery that we brought with us and getting excited all over again.

We're going back to our roots and returning to our initial heart-led (not sales-led) approach to inspire and be a signpost for those who are searching for something more...

This is us...

We both are massively inspired and uplifted and well...love the teachings of the Buddha and try to live our life by them.

We learn the teachings of the Buddha through Burgs and we learn the power of the present moment through Eckhart.
