Be like the flower...

The flower doesn't dream of the bee,

it blossoms

and the bee comes.

This wonderful quote by Mark Nepo (marknepo.com) reminds us that all we need to do to reach our full potential is to be ourself.

The flower lives its whole life being its best - by being only itself.

It doesn't try and be a different colour or have a different scent or have more petals - it just goes all out to be its Best Self.

And by doing only that, it attracts the bee and therefore, reaches its full potential.

This works for us too.

All we need to do to reach our full potential is to be our Best Self.

Of course, there are many interpretations of what 'being our Best Self' might be...

We are told; Be the most successful, Be the fastest, Be the cleverest, Be the richest, Look the youngest, the prettiest, the thinnest... but none of those are being our Best Self.

They are only external extras.

Our Best Self can only be our most authentic Self;

Who we are when we're not trying to be anything or anyone else.

Be Your Self and watch the magic happen.
